After 365 days of dreaming, planning, and preparing, the doors to Reach Retreat 2024 finally opened, and I had the absolute honor of welcoming each incredible woman with a heartfelt hug. This moment was one I’d envisioned countless times, and the reality was even more meaningful.

Day one was a celebration of intention, connection, and joy—setting the tone for the life-changing experiences to come.

Our journey began with a warm pre-retreat lunch graciously hosted by our sponsor, Oakes Creative House, and their amazing team. This was the perfect way to kick off the week and gave a warm Oklahoma welcome for our ladies.

As our Reach Retreaters arrived, they were greeted with curated touches that made the day unforgettable. Bags were whisked to their rooms by our incredible CEO, Preston, while they savored delicate macaroons lovingly crafted by Hunny Bunny's Bakery and sponsored by Wade Innovation. Guests enjoyed a vanilla blueberry refresher by our chef Janice before being guided to their rooms to settle in by Danielle.

Then came the moment we’d all been waiting for—the Cheers To Five Years Welcome Party, a celebration of community, creativity, and collaboration. Sponsored by Petal Co., the evening bloomed with a vibrant flower bar where attendees crafted their gorgeous bouquets. Gina with Props and Pics added an extra layer of fun with her dynamic 360 Photo Booth, and Harris Custom Catering wowed us with mouthwatering appetizers.

The welcome party officially began with a heartfelt toast, thanks to our stationery sponsors at Toast Design Studio, setting the stage for a powerful week ahead. As we opened our thoughtfully curated swag bags, it truly felt like Christmas morning! Each gift was a token of appreciation for the women who had taken this step to invest in themselves and their businesses.

We also had a surprise celebration that made the evening even more meaningful. While Hundred Magazine was hosting its launch party featuring both myself and fellow Reach Retreater Crystal Oakes, Suzann Wade, surprised us with our very own mini launch party! Her thoughtfulness brought the celebration to life right here at the Retreat, allowing us to cheer each other on and celebrate a milestone moment together.

Adding to the magic, our very own Reach Retreater and the President and CEO of A.R.K Ramos Foundry and Manufacturing unveiled a stunning custom sign crafted specifically for the Reach Retreat. The sign, a symbol of intention and the journey we experience together, was a heartfelt gift that will now serve as a lasting legacy of our time together. The intricate design and craftsmanship were breathtaking, and it perfectly encapsulated the spirit of empowerment and connection that defines this retreat.

But the evening didn’t stop there. Our first speaker, Bridgette Listen, led a thought-provoking icebreaker and awareness exercise, challenging us to dig deep and set the tone for transformation. Bridgette also introduced us to the special boards that will carry us through the week—stay tuned for more on this as the story unfolds!

Dinner was a heartfelt highlight, prepared by our cherished chef, Janice, who has been with Reach Retreat for five beautiful years. Sharing her story of how this retreat has shaped her life brought so much meaning to the evening. She introduced her talented children, including her son, who dazzled us with a hibachi experience.

To close the day, we embraced serenity and mindfulness with a soothing sound bath led by our co-facilitator, Delaney Maberry. Sipping tea afterward, we reflected on the richness of the day and the journey ahead before retiring to our rooms.

This is what the Reach Retreat is all about—living every day with intention, creating space for growth, and building a community that uplifts one another. Cheers to five incredible years of empowering women entrepreneurs, and here’s to the transformational days ahead!
